What is therapy?

Therapy, also known as psychotherapy, is a type of treatment for mental health problems or emotional issues. At Growth & Wellness we use a variety of therapeutic techniques with proven efficacy to create a treatment plan based on your identified goals. Therapy can be performed one-on-one with the clinician, with family members, or in a group depending on your preference and need. Most commonly, G&W provides individual therapy, where you will meet privately with a clinician.

Therapy appointments can be used for education, skill building, gaining insight and direction, changing beliefs, changing unhelpful behavior patterns, and healing trauma. We will develop a personalized treatment plan using an eclectic combination of techniques and information from evidence-based practices.

We can help with:

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Mood Disorders
  • Trauma
  • Adjustment Disorder
  • Relationship Issues
